I always knew I wanted to be in an industry in which I could express my creativity, and after studying fine art at college and university for 6 years, I landed on the medium of sugar.
I have always been fiercely creative and passionate about my work and pride myself on creating flawless finishes to all of my cakes, designed down to the finest detail (I’m a little bit of a perfectionist!).
I find that I draw my inspiration from many sources, such as nature, textiles, architecture and art, and can often find myself scrolling Pinterest for hours captivated by beautiful paintings or floral installations which I can then later turn into cake form.
When I’m not designing away in the studio I also love to paint, keep fit (well,*try too), and spend time with my beautiful dog Wiley the Whippet.
I love what I do and feel very privileged to be able to collaborate with such amazing like-minded clients who value the importance of a bespoke, hand-crafted edible masterpiece.
